Navdhara India Dance Theatre (NIDT) is an acclaimed contemporary dance company from Mumbai, founded by international choreographer Ashley Lobo. NIDT brings together the physicality of Western dance techniques with the philosophical depth of Indian traditions.
At the heart of their work is Prana Paint™, a technique developed by Lobo, which uses breath and inner awareness to fuel movement. NIDT is rooted in the ancient Gurukul system of immersive learning, creating works that are deeply introspective and universally resonant.
