Moving Borders organizes, produces, promotes, advises, and generates scenic processes specialized in contemporary dance and all those disciplines that can collaborate in an interdisciplinary construction. It seeks to create committed aesthetic experiences in a socio-cultural context and works to connect the Mexican scenic experience with other latitudes of the planet in a context of collaboration and dialogue. With thirteen years of experience moving borders works have been presented in more than 30 countries in Latin America and Europe, such as Germany, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Poland, Mexico, among others.
Jaciel Neri is a choreographer & promoter of the performing arts. He graduated from Folkwang Hochschule, in Germany, and the Choreographic Research Center (CICO) of the INBA and did his Higher School of Tourism from I.P.N. (Mexico).
His choreographic work, marked by the mixture of languages between the contemporary and the folkloric, has been recognized with National and International awards.
In 2007 he founded moving borders, and in 2009 “iN – Performing Art Show” in Mexico that evolved in 2013 to “CAMP_iN scenic encounter”, that links and strengthens the relationship and meaning of the performing arts with society, public and private institutions, promoting in addition, a wide labour development of the scenic scope. Currently, he advises and designs festivals and meetings, in addition to continuing his work as a promoter of Mexican folkloric dance internationally.
